Korolenko Volodimir
President of the SYS in 2008-2011
V. Korolenko was born on 28 th of June, 1979 in Kiev. From 1999 to 2005 - student of Bohomolets National Medical University. While studying worked as a first deputy chairman of Student Science Society of O. Kisela and deputy chairman of the trade union committee of students. He fought for the "A student of Kyiv “title twice in the category "Natural Science" (2002, 2004), He got Kiev Mayor's scholarship for talented young people (2002), twice President’s of Ukraine scholarship (2003, 2004).
After graduation he worked as a senior laboratory Assistant of Dermatology and Venereology Department . At the same time continued to engage in organizational activities. Since 2005 V.Korolenko become a Deputy Chairman, and in 2008 he has been elected chairman of the Young Scientists and Specialists committee. Few committee were created and approved by the Academic Council and implemented by Rector because of his initiative. They are "Provision of Young Scientists and Specialists," and community logo. He was a Chairman of a Community that launched a unique for Ukraine scientific and educational projects like "triangular table on HIV / AIDS" and <<YouthNanoBioTech>>. <<Youth forum from nanobiotehnolohiy>>. " Achievements of Young Scientists of the University started regularly presented at trade shows and received awards.
Since 2007 working as an editor of the "Ukrainian Scientific Medical Youth Journal", whose founder is the Bohomolets National Medical University . Under his leadership, the journal has received registration in international catalogs ISSN International Centre (Paris, France) and Ulrich's International Periodicals Directory (New York, USA), vultures << Published by scientific support of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine" and "Published by the scientific support of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, re-registered with an extension of publishing options at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and HAK of Ukraine. For magazine work were mobilized 25 academicians and corresponding members of the National Academies of Sciences of Ukraine, and famous scientists from Bulgaria, Italy, Malta, Poland, USA also were adjusted a compulsory review of articles.
In 2007 - 2008 V.Korolenko completed his research project "Defining features of immunopathogenesis and neurofibromatosis in conditions of using the systemic enzymotherapy " funded by the President of Ukraine for gifted youth. In 2007 by Presidium of the Committee for State Prizes in Science and Technology he won a scholarship of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists. In 2009 he defended his thesis "The Sigma-ESR and immunological parameters of blood in neurofibromatosis type I". Was elected as an Assistant of Dermatology and Venereology Department.
Also he is an uthor and coauthor of 136 scientific papers, including 60 articles in journals accredited by VAK of Ukraine, 5 books, a booklet and a declarative patent. The spectrum of researches: dermatology, prion pathology, HIV / AIDS, history of medicine, social, economic and legal aspects of health.
In 2006, was training as a chief specialist of the treatment and preventive care health department of Kyiv Regional State Administration, in 2007, served as a freelance assistant consultant on HIV / AIDS in Deputy Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration. In 2008 V.Korolenko was elected as a Chairman of the Council of young scientists at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, since 2009 - member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (in 2010 a member of its Presidium) and the Expert of Board of the Committee on Health in Supreme Rada of Ukraine. In 2011 he was elected for the post of Deputy Chief of Prophylaxis Department of Health of Kyiv Regional State Administration
V. Korolenko is a member of 12 NGOs, including the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Ukrainian Association of doctors, cosmetologists and dermatovenerologists, Society "Knowledge" of Ukraine, Ukrainian Federation of Scientists, All-Ukrainian Association of Maritime Medicine.
V. Korolenko was awarded Diploma of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, also gratitude from Kyiv Mayor, and honored "for active public activity" of the Ministry of Ukraine for Family, Children and Youth (2004), also won prize of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine (2005), and Gold Medal Society "Knowledge "Ukraine (2008), and prize named after Michael Hornstein European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (2009)
